Consumer electronics have specific requirements for a good user experience:
- Environment-aware design (e.g. in the car, in the living room, or on the go)
- Enable simpler setup/configuration of multi-device collaboration (e.g. home stereo set up, surround sound, dials, knobs, buttons, and sliders)
- Custom input/output devices (e.g. TV remote, custom configuration, etc.)
- Non-computer/technology savvy customers
- Group experiences
