The customer's software supports various web servers, database servers, and browsers as well as multiple versions of PHP on multiple operating system platforms. Furthermore, the customer's software itself is offered in three different editions of its feature-rich application. The challenge for the customer is the application with clear visibility into the feature test coverage and regression test coverage for multiple stacks of software consisting of web servers, database servers, browsers, and operating systems. The company chose Augmentum for our test methodologies, ability to provide gap analyses of features vs. test coverage and test traceability matrix, along with manual and automated execution of test cases.

Engagement
Augmentum conducted gap analyses of features and current test coverage and provided a test traceability matrix along with thousands of additional test cases to close the gap in test coverage in 6 weeks. At the same time, Augmentum contributed to releasing time critical patches with prioritized execution of regression test cases.
