Senior Consultant
Augmentum Senior Consultants work across a broad span of services: product engineering, IT services, and system integration. The Senior Consultant is the lead technical person on customer projects. On smaller projects, they may also perform the project management and account management responsibilities, in addition to design and software customization.
Qualifications
-
Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline followed by at least 5 years of development experience.

At least 4 years experience developing applications in J2EE, .NET, and/or Linux with at least 1 year as technical lead.

At least 2 years experience programming with one of the following leading database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and/or DB2).

Solid work ethic with a willingness to meet client demands.
-
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-
Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Willingness to travel to Augmentum's offshore development facilities.
Desired
-
Experience in the development and configuration of software products and IT solutions based on SOA.
-
Experience in formal software development lifecycles.
-
Experience with architectures: SOA, Web Services, N-Tier Distributed, Client-Server, and/or Thin-Clients.

Experience developing web content management solutions or developing web site applications.
-
Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, ASP.Net and other web-related tools and technologies.

Experience with formal, structured testing techniques.
